hi! my name is Avery Loh and i’m currently a junior in high school. living in a time with such a fast moving world with ever-changing culture, i’ve developed special interests in studying the trends of our lives. what captures our attention today, may fade tomorrow but each moment leaves a trace on how people see the world. as a high school student, i’ve also gained a lot of interest in the field of psychology and human behaviors. why do we do what we do? why do we think what we think? why do we buy what we buy? these are all questions that race through my mind constantly. so, i decided to create my project: The Trend Talk. this blog aims to answer these common questions while also being fun and engaging through topics relevant to all crowds. whether it be new makeup products, new furniture, lifestyle trends, household products, or viral TikTok dances, i hope to learn about the very thing that makes us human while also helping you find answers to the big question: Why?
