I just fed my kitten. Before the feeding, it was skinny, but now it’s fat as hell. Could I have overfed? He gets milk from a baby bottle that I use to feed him. I usually stop feeding once it starts thrashing during feeding.

In some cases, overfeeding your kitten is possible, so you must take care of it. To ensure that kittens get the right amount of food, they must be provided with small amounts multiple times a day.

In addition, monitoring their weight and body condition is important to ensure they receive the right amount of food. Consistency is key; providing your kitten with the same amount of meals daily will help ensure they get the appropriate nutrition.

Moreover, feeding them less or a different food that is lower in calories may be necessary if they are gaining too much weight. Kittens and puppies should be weighed at least once a week until they’re 6 months old and at least every two weeks.
